Apple CEO Tim Cook announced the unveiling of iOS 14 at Apple's annual developer conference. At the conference, the tech giant gave various information about the latest operating system of iPhone, iOS 14 version.
Some features that have already been seen in Android have been added to iOS 14. Not all features of the new version are attractive but necessary. Apple has launched the beta of the developer of iOS 14. The public beta will be released from July. After the unveiling of iPhone 12, 'iOS 14' will reach to the users.
Features of iOS 14:
Compact call screen
An interesting feature of iOS 14 is the compact call screen. The call screen will no longer cover the entire display, but will come in the form of a banner at the top of the screen.
App Library
IPhone users will get a completely new experience in this update of the operating system. The name of the feature is App Library. The apps on the phone can be sorted by category. Suggested apps and recently added apps can be easily accessed in a folder.
Home screen widget
IOS 14 has a home screen widget feature instead of a two-day screen. With this new feature the widget is more data rich and can be used in different formats.
Picture-in-picture
Apple has added a picture-in-picture video feature. The video will continue to play even if you enter another app or go to the home screen. If you have trouble watching the video while chatting, you can drag and drop it. The sound will continue but the video will not be seen, which is like Android feature However, this feature is a bit better than Android.
Translate app
The new translation app will be able to translate text and audio in 11 major languages. Real-time translation will be facilitated when two people speak different languages on the iPhone.
Message update
Apple's new version has come up with a new feature of group messaging. It has some great features including pinning important conversations, mentions, inline replies, new emojis etc. If someone is 'mentioned' in the message, he will get a notification. Group photos can be set via pictures or emojis.Apple emoji can also be used. The Messages app can save up to 40 percent of the messages. Group message capacity has been doubled in this new version.
Hide app page
With the Hide App Page feature, users can hide any app in iOS 14.
Digital car Key
This feature has been added as an alternative to car keys. Using the iPhone or Apple Watch, the car key can be locked and unlocked and the car can be driven by pressing the start / stop button on the phone. At first, only the 2021 BMW 5 series car will work with the car key feature. Car keys can be exchanged with family members using messages.
App clips
Apple has found an easy way to find new apps and get into them. The feature is app clips. There will be an opportunity to use a small part of the required app. The size of these apps will be small. Apple Pay will be included in it. Users can download and use the full version of the app if they want. The new application can be accessed by scanning the clip code or using QR.
